William Zepeda vs. Mercito Gesta: Live Stream, Betting Odds & Fight Card

Golden Boy Promotions and DAZN return with a card on Saturday night live from the Commerce Casino in Commerce, CA. Undefeated lightweight contender William Zepeda (28-0, 24 KOs) will look to continue his dominant ways as he goes up against the rugged, veteran southpaw Mercito Gesta (34-3-3, 17 KOs). The fight will take place on Mexican Independence Day, which is more than a motivation for the 27-year-old Zepeda.

Zepeda was in the ring five months ago as he destroyed Jaime Arboleda in just two rounds. Zepeda is knocking on the door of a world title shot but feels like a fight with Gesta will help him gain even more experience as he awaits the opportunity. Will the pressure of fighting on such a significant Mexican holiday distract Zepeda, or will it be business as usual on Saturday night?

Gesta is almost at the end of his career, and at 35, this fight against Zepeda may be his last opportunity to get an even bigger fight. Gesta earned a split decision against Joseph ‘JoJo’ Diaz in March and will look to shock fans with a victory over Zepeda on Saturday night. Can he do it, or will Zepeda be too much for Gesta?
