Wilder Thinks Better Cheater Wins, Fury vs. Usyk

Deontay Wilder was recently interviewed and gave his opinion on the mythical match-up between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk

“I don’t know. That’s a 50-50 fight for me. You just never know until you get in there. Depends on who’s going to cheat the hardest,” Wilder stated when speaking exclusively to Elie Seckbach of ESNews. “That’s what it is, it depends on who’s gonna cheat the hardest.”

Wilder claims that Fury in their second bout, put some form of an egg weight in his glove, and also bashed his coach Mark Breland, who Wilder fired after that fight.

It was a fall from grace that looked delusional to most, but endeared Wilder to some, and it appears these tropes are what Wilder is playing up once again.

As for what is next for Wilder, he is open to everything, and everybody.

“They want to see me with everybody. People don't come and see me for no titles and stuff like that no more. That's not for me. People come to see me to knock people out,” explained Wilder. “So I don't have to have the titles. I don't have to have belts. People come to see me for what I do. That's why you don't see people booing because they know [the knockout] is coming. What do I always say? You don't know when it's coming, but it's coming. Here it comes. Bam, baby. Good night.”
