WBC world heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, has announced on social media that he has begun his training camp for an undisputed title opportunity against Oleksandr Usyk. A tentative deal was struck on March 10th and confirmed by the World Boxing Association following Tyson Fury's public negotiation tactics. Tyson publicly announced he would take the fight between himself and the unified world heavyweight champion on a 70/30 purse split in his favour. This is because Fury says he is the financial draw in this fight. Usyk responded a few hours later and accepted the terms on offer for an April 29th fight at Wembley Stadium, London.
Fury took to the streets of Morecambe whilst beginning a run expressing confidence that he would be able to impose his will on Usyk in the fight.
