Yesterday saw an end to the undisputed heavyweight title clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk scheduled for April 29th.
The blame has largely been placed on shoulders of The Gypsy King for demanding too much money, making talks difficult. However, both Tyson Fury and promoter Frank Warren have hit back at the suggestion they walked away from negotiations.
Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) took to social media to hit back at the Ukrainian. “You little slimy fucker!” He continued with the foul mouthed attack “Tried to get out of it all week, begging for a rematch like a little girl. You got your rematch and didn’t even want a fight at that. You little shit house pussy! Always know pussy that you were never man enough to tangle with the Gypsy King.”
Promoter Frank Warren has also came out firing in the media today. Accusing team Usyk for the fallout.
"They said the fight must take place before 29 April and if it goes later they want different splits.” Warren told the BBC.
The BHOF promoter continued “The reason they did that was they didn't think Tyson would be ready for the 29th and suddenly Tyson was ready for it. He has been in training camp for two and a half weeks, got trainers in from America and they looked for a way to get out.”
