Tszyu dismisses 'punks' Spence and Stevenson

Tim Tszyu has labelled as "punks" Errol Spence and Shakur Stevenson after the Americans predicted victory over Tszyu for their compatriot Tony Harrison.

Tszyu and Harrison fight at light middleweight on Sunday at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney's Olympic Park, after which the winner is expected to next challenge Jermell Charlo.

Spence in January went as far as suggesting that he was willing to bet $10,000 that Harrison, 32, would beat the Australian, and Stevenson more recently said: "Tony Harrison is going to beat him. I don’t think that Tim dude is that good. As long as Tony don’t get caught with a good shot [that would] hurt him, wobble him or get him out there... it’s hard for anyone to beat Tony Harrison when he’s on his A game."

The undefeated Tszyu, however, aged 28 and potentially at his peak, told Fox Sports: "These punks, they will all be put on notice. I’ve got a long future ahead of me and I’ll pin-point all of them one by one.”

"[Spence is] a punk. I’ve never said anything bad about the bloke whatsoever.

"But for some reason, he just doesn’t like me. He’s Team America, I guess — that’s how they are.
