Tim Bradley Sings The Praises Of Dmitry Bivol

Dmitry Bivol was the best fighter in 2022.

He won the biggest fights, as he defeated at-the-time pound-for-pound number #1 Canelo Alvarez, and #1 contender to his world title, Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez, to defend his WBA light heavyweight title twice in 2022.

The recently named hall-of-famer Tim Bradley Jr., is one of who thinks Bivol is one tough puzzle to solve.

“That’s a bad boy,” said Bradley when speaking with popular YouTube channel K.O. Artists Sports. “He beat a heavyweight. Ramirez comes in around 200 pounds and he backed him up. Bivol, that’s a bad dude man.”

The fight we all want is the undisputed fight between Bivol and Artur Beterbiev who holds the WBC, WBO and IBF world titles at light heavyweight. Yet, Beterbiev has two fights to fulfill prior to a potential fight as he is fighting Anthony Yarde in the U.K., on Jan.28th, and will be forced to defend his WBC title against Callum Smith after, meaning at best Bivol v. Beterbiev is two fights away at best.

“I got Bivol when he fights Beterbiev. Man, listen to me, Bivol knows every aspect of the ring. He knows how to get off, his control game is fantastic as well as the inside. That defense of Bivol, I know the power [Beterbiev has] is different, hands of stone type of power. He still gotta land that stuff, he still gotta figure out a way to land that stuff. It’s a 50/50 fight due to the power and Beterbiev is smart as well but the legs, that's the difference right there. The legs of Bivol is way better. I think he’s gonna chop up Beterbiev. He’s gonna chop his behind up.”
