Katie Taylor and Chantelle Cameron make weight ahead of undisputed clash in Dublin

Tomorrow night will see the battle of two undisputed champions. Katie Taylor (22-0, 6 KOs) moves up to 140 pounds to potentially become the Queen of two divisions. Standing in her way is the current ruler of the super lightweight division in Chantelle Cameron (17-0, 8 KOs).

Both women came in under the agreed weight at 139.7 pounds ahead of their historic clash at the 3Arena, Dublin. The pair will go toe-to-toe over 10 rounds in a bout that sees, for the first time, two undisputed champions and two undefeated fighters putting it all on the line. Taylor fights in her native Ireland for the first time in her professional career.

The chief support will see Terri Harper defend her WBA super welterweight against Cecilia Braekhus. Braekhus the former leading lady of the female discipline of the sport moves up in weight in the hope of becoming a two weight world champion at the latter end of her career.

Harper (13-1-1, 6 KOs) came in at 150.8 pounds, well within the 154 pound limit. Braekhus (37-2, 9 KOs) came in a t career heaviest of at 153.3 pounds in her first fight at super welterweight.

Undercard weigh in results

Gary Cully (16-0, 10 KOs) came in at 137 ¼ pounds. His opponent Jose Felix (39-6-1, 30KOs) came in at 137.2 pounds for the 10 round clash just over the lightweight limit.

Dennis Hogan (31-4-1, 7 KOs) hit the scales at 153.3 pounds ahead of his duel with James ‘JJ’ Metcalf (24-2, 15 KOs), who came in at 153 ¾ pounds for the 12 round super welterweight clash.

Caoimhin Agyarko (12-0, 7 KOs) came in 159.8 pounds and Grant Dennis (18-4, 3KOs) also weigh in under 160 pound limit at 159.3 pounds.

Thomas Carty (5-0, 4KOs) smashed the scales at 258.6 pounds. Scotland’s Jay McFarlane (14-7,5 KOs) came in not far off an extra 30 pounds heavier at 283.7 pounds. Ireland meets Scotland for 8 rounds at heavyweight. 

The talented Paddy Donovan (10-0, 7KOs) weigh in at 148 ½ pounds. His advisory Sam O’Maison (17-4-1, 7 KOs) weighed in at 149.3 pounds for 8 rounds just over the welterweight limit.

Maisey Rose Courtney (2-0, 0KOs) weighed in at 112.1 pounds with opponent Kate Radomska (3-1) coming in at 109.7 pounds for the 6 round fight at flyweight.
