Stevenson Not Facing George Kambosos Jnr Now

Shakur Stevenson is having trouble finding a dancing partner at 135 lbs for his debut in the division.

He has had failed efforts to fight Isaac Cruz, William Zepeda, and now George Kambosos Jnr., each for a various reason.

Now per the WBC, Japan’s Shuichiro Yoshino, an undefeated fighter ranked #6 in the WBC rankings is next for Stevenson to face, after him ranked at number seven is Jamaine Ortiz.

“[a third] person turned me down and I haven’t even fought one fight at 135,” Stevenson stated on the internet Wednesday. “No Kambosos fight either.”

Another fighter who has stepped up to the plate to call out Stevenson is Jospeh Diaz Jr., who his manager Rick Mirigian, has let it be known that he is willing to take the fight.
