The legend of “The Monster” Naoya Inoue continues to grow as his power is that of myth or as mentioned before legend.
The super bantamweight unified world champion, Stephen Fulton Jr., is already awaiting the arrival of Inoue to his division. Fulton who holds the WBC and WBO titles.
Ultimately, however, Stephen Fulton, the current WBC and WBO trinket holder at 122 pounds, tips his cap to Inoue in approval of his overall skills. Nevertheless, the Philadelphia native, unlike many, isn’t willing to name him the best fighter around.
“He’s good,” said Fulton to Hans Themistode of BoxingScene.com. “But I wouldn't say the best in the world.”
Inoue who is widely believed to finish the year as the undisputed 118 lbs champion as he faces WBO bantamweight world champion, Paul Butler in December, should be at super bantamweight as soon as after the final bell rings in his next fight.
“He is good but if you take away that power, would you still consider him as good?”
It is clear Fulton wants to fight Inoue in the future.
