This weekend will feature the rematch no one was looking for, but we are still getting it live on ESPN+ in the States. Liam Smith (33-3-1, 20 KOs) will look to prove that the first time wasn’t a fluke as he faces Chris Eubank Jr. (32-3, 23 KOs). The odds are just as tight as they were for the first one, but this time, Smith is the slight favorite to once again come out victorious.
‘Beefy’ Smith is going into this one with his confidence sky-high after stopping Eubank Jr. in January. It was the last opportunity for a big fight, and he made it into everything while fighting a weight class north of what he was used to. At 35, can Smith pull out another victory and position himself for a title shot at middleweight?

Although the first fight didn’t play out how he wanted it to, Eubank Jr. still felt that he could do better in the second go-round but with a new trainer. Fresh off leading undisputed welterweight champion Terence Crawford to victory over Errol Spence Jr. in July, Brian ‘BoMac’ McIntyre has been tasked with training Eubank Jr. for this rematch. Will ‘BoMac’ be the difference this time around?
