It is clear that Keyshawn Davis is in a position to be the marquee 2020 U.S. Olympian, and has been the most sought-after fighter since he turned pro, in terms of young professionals.
Now, one of the superstars of the sport has taken a stand and agrees.
“I think Keyshawn ready for whoever,” Shakur Stevenson said to BoxingScene.com's Keith Idec. “I think Keyshawn ready. I don’t care who y’all put in front of Keyshawn, Keyshawn is a bad motherf-----."
A glowing endorsement from Shakur Stevenson, who many, myself included feel will be on the top of the pound-for-pound list one day.
Davis, who is rumored to return on the December 10th card put on by Top Rank Inc., headlined by Teofimo Lopez vs. Jose Pedraza, has yet to have an official opponent announced as of this writing.
As for if Stevenson would entertain fighting Keyshawn?
“Nah, I would never fight Keyshawn,” Stevenson said, “unless it’s for like – they would have to offer us an enormous amount of money for me to fight my little brother."
So that should answer that question.
