Shakur Stevenson is calling out William Zepeda, as he took to Twitter to let the top lightweight contender know how he feels.
“Yo, Wlliam Zepeda, offer was sent today,” Stevenson said via a tweet on his popular Twitter platform, which he included Zepeda’s social media on it.
The two-weight world champion, who was a unified 130 lbs champion, Shakur Stevenson, is checking the boxes as the future of boxing. Stevenson was mandated by the WBC at their convention to fight Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz. The two have traded words on social media, but we’re no closer to a fight being made as of now.
Per the great boxing reporter, Jake Donovan of BoxingScene.com, Cruz appears to be more interested in exploring the IBF route to the world title, and that leaves Stevenson without an opponent.
Zepeda, who is with Golden Boy Promotions, is who Shakur Stevenson, who is promoted by Top Rank Inc, and managed by J. Prince, is hopefully that this could be his debut in the division.
Zepeda is coming off the biggest win of his career defeating Joseph Diaz Jr., via a 12-round decision.
