Shakur Says Devin Beats Lomachenko

“I got Devin winning,” Stevenson told Barak Bess and Akin Reyes, better known as AK and Barak. “Devin will out-box him. … Devin faster, taller, longer and I just think [with] the reach advantage, he gonna out-box him.”

Sadly, this weekend’s bout between Devin Haney and George Kambosos Jnr., is being treated as a formality. Kambosos Jnr., was soundly outpointed and the fight is more so a business agreement, honoring a rematch clause rather than from interest of the general public.

The first fight was a massive event, this one - much smaller. Also, add to the fact Kambosos Jnr., has a new team from trainer onward.

Stevenson, who missed weight and lost his two world titles to the scale in his homecoming bout against Robson Conceicao on September 23 at Prudential Center in Stevenson’s hometown of Newark, New Jersey, is already eyeballing to the top names of 135 lbs.

“At the end of the day, you know, Lomachenko want them belts and his mind ain’t really focused on me,” said Stevenson honestly. “So, you can’t blame me for if he don’t end up taking the fight with me right now and go the Devin Haney route. I mean, that’d probably be smarter for him, so I can’t – I just gotta sit back and, you know, be ready for when the time come, that’s all.”
