Ryan Garcia Thinks Lomachenko Might Be Too Small For Lightweight

Ryan Garcia has questions about whether Vasiliy Lomachenko can compete against the highest level of competition at lightweight.

“Loma just might be too small for 135 so it seems,” said Garcia on his social media account.

This came on the heels of a competitive fight against Jamaine Ortiz in which Lomachenko had issues with the size of Ortiz as Lomachenko is not a very thick-framed individual.

“Loma just might be too small for 135 so it seems,” said Garcia on his social media account.

Lomachenko one of the best of the era, has ran into some trouble at lightweight as he was dropped by Jorge Linares, and had a rough go of it against Jamaine Ortiz.

Now, it appears Lomachenko will face Devin Haney in 2023, as Haney might be the biggest lightweight of them all. That will be the true test to see just how Lomachenko handles the modern lightweight.
