Boxing star Rolly Romero will be in a world title fight in his super lightweight debut as Keith Idec of BoxingScene.com learned that Romero will face WBA super lightweight champion Alberto Puello at a venue and show yet-to-be-announced in April.
The card will be a triple-header.
This will be Romero’s first fight since his May 28th knockout loss to Gervonta Davis on pay-per-view.
This will be Puello’s first world title defense as well as he defeated Batyr Akhmedov by 12-round split decision to win the world title on August 20th.
