Rest In Peace, Jim Brown

Jim Brown was one of the greatest football players in the history of the NFL. In the NFL, Brown won three MVPs, was eight-time first-team All-Pro, a nine-time Pro Bowler, and most importantly Brown led the Cleveland Browns to their last Super Bowl title in 1964.

After nine years in the NFL, Brown called it a career and left the NFL to pursue other interests including acting.

Some might not know that in 1965, Brown was the first black televised boxing announcer as he was part of the broadcast crew for the Terrell–Chuvalo fight. Brown is viewed as part of the pioneering vision of Top Rank, as Brown is credited with first suggesting to Bob Arum to start promoting boxing.
