Regis Prograis is the current WBC super lightweight champion, and now a two-time world champion. Yet, Prograis is not entertaining the idea of ever facing internet celeb Ryan Garcia at any point.
“I ruin a lot of people,” said Prograis when speaking with Hans Themistode of BoxingScene.com. “I really do. I fight to beat you up. I feel like Ryan would be a cakewalk. He ain’t gonna be like nothing, at all. I don’t even have to train for him.”
Garcia, who has yet to fight for a world title, yet, but despite the lack of accolades is one of the biggest names in the 140 lbs division as he recently moved up to this weight class.
“I’ll train but it won’t be like how I really train. I think Ryan a pretty boy, I don’t think he got that dog in him like that,” furthered Prograis. “I hope so. Will it happen? I don’t know.”
