Navarrete Vacates WBO Featherweight Title, Ramirez vs. Dogboe Fight For Belt

Emanuel Navarrete has vacated his WBO featherweight title, as the newly crowned three-division Mexican world champion will opt to stay at his new weight class of 130 lbs., per the WBO’s official Twitter account which released a statement on Thursday.

Navarrete who hit the deck against Liam Wilson, would recover him, and stop him to win the vacant world title, last Friday, on ESPN.

The news now means a lot to Robeisy Ramirez and Isaac Dogboe as their April 1 ESPN bout from Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which was originally for an interim title, now will be for the vacant WBO featherweight world title.
