Nate Diaz Eyes Boxing Next

A subplot of the recently announced Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva fight on October 29th, taking place in Glendale, Arizona, and available live on Showtime PPV, is that counter-culture icon, Nate Diaz is making it known he will be there ringside.

Diaz who submitted Tony Ferguson last Saturday on PPV launched Real Fight, Inc., with the intention of promoting future events. As reported by John Morgan of SI.com, the company will focus on promoting MMA, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and boxing matches in the future.

Diaz is now out of his UFC contract and looking to explore his options, and a fight against Jake Paul in the future would be a mega-fight of contrasting worlds coming together which would be something we haven’t seen in some time.

Paul quickly made a reaction video on his Twitter feed titled “Nate Diaz says he’s going into the sport of boxing.”

“Nate Diaz is going into the sport of boxing,” said Jake Paul with a sarcastic look on his face. “I wonder who he should fight.”

It is clear that groundwork is being laid for a future Paul vs. Diaz fight.
