Big news for fans of the lower weights as two of the best fighters in their respective division will face each other this year.
Jake Donovan of BoxingScene.com, confirmed an earlier report from Mike Coppinger, that actually was first reported by Philly journalist and YouTuber YSM Sports Media. Stephen Fulton will put his WBC/WBO junior featherweight world titles on the line versus “The Monster” Inoue, who recently vacated his undisputed title reign at 118 lbs to pursue his next 122 lbs weight division.
No date or location are set, per Donovan’s report, but a hope is in Spring, maybe May or June, and a tentative belief it would be in Japan.
