Bakole-Shevadzutskyi set for April 22 in Poland

Martin Bakole is to fight Ihor Shevadzutskyi of Ukraine in Rzeszów, Poland on April 22.

Almost a year will have passed since he impressively defeated Tony Yoka in Paris, but victory for the dangerous Congolese against an undefeated opponent would represent the start of the promotional agreement with BOXXER that he hopes will create the opportunities that have so far eluded him.

Bakole-Shevadzutskyi will unfold on the undercard of the fight, in the lightly regarded bridgerweight division, between Poland’s Lukasz Rozanski and Alen Babic. The highly rated Caroline Dubois – whose older brother Daniel is among those Bakole is targeting – will also fight on the bill in Rzeszów, and for the first time outside of the UK as a professional, on the occasion of her seventh fight. Her opponent is yet to be secured.

“Caroline Dubois has proved unstoppable and this will be a brilliant test for her overseas,” said her promoter Ben Shalom.
