Manny Pacquiao Returns in Exhibition Match

Former eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao, now 43-years-old, has signed on for an exhibition fight against Jaber Zayani, in Saudi Arabia.

Pacquiao joins the trend along with his compatriot of his era, Floyd Mayweather, of taking exhibition bouts as boxing lacks huge vibrant stars currently, and his notable name, as well as legendary career still has a slew of fans wanting to see him compete at the highest level.

First reported by the Manila Times, the contracts for the exhibition match were signed with the bout being an eight round fight with eight-ounce gloves, in February at the King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Pacquiao, who last year lost to Yordenis Ugas on PPV, has left the sport of boxing as a professional, but now seems open to the idea of novelty exhibition bouts.
