A bleak and stern warning was given out by Luis Ortiz about his fate if he faces Deontay Wilder.
“He’ll kill Andy Ruiz,” said Luis Ortiz to Blue Bloods Boxing. “It’s easy money.”
Ortiz, who fought Wilder twice, losing by knockout in both fights, but also fairing very well until, well he wasn’t - recently lost a close unanimous decision to Ruiz Jr. this year on pay-per-view.
Needless to say, Ruiz Jr. didn’t impress the Cuban heavyweight, Ortiz.
It is heavily rumored that Deontay Wilder vs. Andy Ruiz Jr., could be ordered as a final eliminator for the WBC heavyweight title held by lineal heavyweight champion, as well as WBC champion, Tyson Fury, which would take place next year, in 2023.
Ortiz had a simple statement for Ruiz Jr.
“Andy Ruiz needs to give me the rematch,” said Ortiz. “Give me the rematch.”
