Joe Joyce (15-1, 14KO’s) rematches Zhilei Zhang (25-1-1, 20KO’s), hoping to recapture the mandatory position he once held prior to his defeat to Zhang in April’s original encounter at the Copperbox Arena, London.
The heavyweight encounter, held at London’s Wembley Arena, will ultimately decide again who will be the WBO’s mandatory challenger for current unified heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk.
The event, headlined by Joyce vs. Zhang, will feature the anticipated return of two-time world title challenger Anthony Yarde (23-3, 22KO’s). Yarde returns following his stoppage defeat to unified world light-heavyweight world champion Artur Beterbiev, having faced the Russian/Canadian in January of this year at London’s O2 Arena. Yarde will return against Jorge Silva (22-8) in a scheduled ten-round contest.
