Liam Smith has a rematch clause with Chris Eubank Jr., the man he stopped in four rounds last Saturday.
The former world champion at 154 lbs though feels as the rematch, if it were to happen should happen on his terms.
“Just, obviously, like I said, Liverpool,” Smith stated after the fight. “Obviously, the money [changes] now. I might drag him down to 157 [pounds].”
Eubank Jr. vs Liam Smith fought a British pay-per-view from a sold-out AO Arena in Manchester, and now oddly a rematch will do even bigger numbers.
“Again, I said last week,” furthered Smith. “I said two weeks ago, I said three weeks ago, four, ‘I beat him once, I’ll beat him twice.’ So, it’s not a problem. But this has to be right for me now and on my terms. You know, it’s not really about the Smith-Eubank sign, but a few other things has gotta be on my terms.”
