Keyshawn Davis has a new opponent as Keith Idec of BoxingScene.com reported that the Swedish southpaw, Anthony Yigit, who was last seen on U.S. airways getting stopped by Rolando Romero, will be part of the April 8th triple header headlined by Shakur Stevenson vs. Shuichiro Yoshino.
Davis was originally set to fight Emmanuel Tagoe, but Tagoe withdrew from the fight reasons not publicly released.
“You can say 1 thing then…, boom!,” said Keyshawn Davis on February 20th via Twitter.
This would come on the heels of Keyshawn Davis’ biggest an eight-round unanimous decision win over Juan Carlos Burgos, a former world title contender.
“We work 7 days a week & each week it’s gonna get worse & worse for em,” said Davis, which was posted on his Instagram earlier this week, signifying the intensity of his training camp.
Davis, who is the 2020 Olympic Silver medalist, but came short of a gold medal when facing Cuban, Andy Cruz will now look to move into the realm of becoming a bonafide contender.
