Jordan Laruccia returns June 16

June 16 will mark the date of the return of an Australian institution, The THUNDERDOME boxing series based out of Metro City in Perth, Western Australia.

One of the fighters to keep an eye out on is undefeated prospect Jordan Laruccia 4-0.

Laruccia as a junior trained at Juventus in Italy as a goal keeper before heading back to Australia to pursue a career in pugilism. Jordan who has no had an amateur career has gone straight through the pro ranks and making some noise after racking up 4 wins from 4 starts.

The Italian Australian Laruccia gave his thoughts on the upcoming light middleweight clash.

“I cant wait to get back in that ring and continue to improve, I really believe I will be the best light middleweight in Australia and go further but first I have to clean up my back yard.

Im a simple fighter, you give me an opponent and I will fight anyone. My second fight I just got over covid the day before the weigh in, made weight and fought. Im a fighter its what we do.

Im so greatful to have the team that I do behind me, I have the godfather of Aussie boxing Tony Tolj, my trainer Pops (Dayle “Big Rig” Phillips) & Danny Green is a mentor to me.

I know that soon I will be a big name in boxing but I have to earn my stripes first. I was offered the fight with Nikita Tszyu already but Tony declined the fight, I back his and the teams judgement but it’s a fight I would love to purse on a big show.

I love fighting on the Thunderdome at Perth, I’m looking forward to going 5-0 and letting everyone know Jordan Laruccia can fight and loves to bang!
