Despite stepping into the biggest fight of his life this Saturday, Joe Cordina still has a keen eye on heat his happening in the sport. On they very same night as his super featherweight world title fight with Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov at the Cardiff International Arena, Gervonta Davis (28-0, 26 KOs) and Ryan Garcia (23-0, 19 KOs) will go to battle at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas.
The undefeated Welshman spoke exclusively to ProBox TV News to give his opinion on the all-American 136lbs catchweight clash.
“First and foremost I’m a boxing fan.” Cordina said. “I will be keeping an eye on it once I’ve done what I have got to do on Saturday night. I’ll probably have little night out somewhere, then go and watch it about four or five in the morning.
“I keep changing and swaying my decision with this one. Originally, I thought Davis would do him. But now and then I think a bit differently about that fight. Ryan Garcia is quick and he can punch also, he will probably be able to catch him. But if I had to lean towards Ryan Garcia or Tank Davis, I’ll have to go with Gervonta Davis.”
