Jermaine Franklin has stated his intentions and aims to knockout Anthony Joshua ahead of their scheduled bout on April 1st at the 02 Arena in London.
Franklin takes on Anthony Joshua following his razor thin points defeat to Dillian Whyte last December and still feel’s that he did enough to have claimed victory in that encounter to have maintained his undefeated record. Franklin speaking to IFL TV still believes that he will not get a “fair shake” in the UK which has given the American the mindset of aiming to take the judges out of the question when it comes to the April 1st encounter.
"I'm trying to knock AJ out. I know I'm probably not going to get no fair shake over there. Honestly, because I won the last fight on points. The CompuBox numbers say I outpunched him (Whyte) in almost every round, by four rounds and they gave him the fight. I feel like I'm in a position where I have to knock him out (Joshua) or dominate the whole fight, extremely dominate the whole fight.”
