Jason Moloney hits back - "I will fight anybody"

"I will fight anyone" - Jason Moloney is on the brink of another crack at the 118-pound title, with many considering the all action Australian a world champion in waiting.

Moloney has looked strong in bouncing back from his hard-fought loss to pound for pound superstar Naoya Inoue, battling back into world title contention with multiple sanctioning bodies.

Mayhem discussed his pathway moving forward, "I just come to fight. Whatever is the most least complicated route to landing a world title fight is what I want. I'm not really bothered about the opponent at this stage, I just want to fight.

"My manager Tony Tolj and promoters Top Rank have given me a great opportunity. I lost to the better man against Inoue, but I know I'm a stronger fighter now and I am still improving.

"I hung in there with Inoue, and that was a valuable experience, I didn't get blasted out of there like most fighters who go in with Inoue, and I didn't run, I came to fight."

Discussions have taken place regarding Moloney's next opponent, with a WBO world title fight looming for the Australian banger and Moloney addressed the situation involving him and potential opponents.

The Aussie stated, "I have nothing but the utmost respect for the WBC and WBO, my focus is just to fight for the world title, and I don't really care who that is.

"I will fight Donaire, I will fight Astrolabio, but it's not up to me. I say yes to everybody. It comes down to who the team decides, but from where I'm sitting I don't care, I beat both of them anyway with the greatest of respect.

"My focus remains on being world champion, I have a great manager in Tony Tolj and the best promoter the world has ever had in Bob Arum and Top Rank, so I trust their decisions."
