Janibek Alimkhanuly Makes First Title Defense Against Denzel Bentley, Nov 12th

After being promoted to the WBO middleweight champion after his destruction of Danny Dignum in his last bout, Janibek Alimkhanuly has referred to himself as “the boogeyman”, but Denzel Bentley fresh off a win last week, is up to the challenge as he will fight for his world title of his career.

The bout which BoxingScene.com learned will take places at Resorts World in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Alimkhanuly, of Kazakhstan, is being viewed as the future of the middleweight division, and has been actively campaigning for a Demetrius Andrade fight, but Andrade moved to the super middleweight division. This has not stopped Alimkhanuly, nicknamed “Qazaq-style”, is calling out any-and-all champions.

This will be Alimkhanuly second headlining appearance on ESPN this year, as he previously stopped Danny Dignum as mentioned before.

Bentley lost to Felix Cash, who is an undefeated U.K. prospect who stopped him in three rounds, but has rebounded to win three fights since.

More information will be available when we get the official word on the card.
