Don’t look now fans of Joshua Franco, but a wrench might have been thrown in seeing Franco rematch Kazuto Ioka as the WBO mandated a fight between Ioka and Junto Nakatani
The news first reported by Jake Donovan of BoxingScene.com states that the WBO junior bantamweight must next be defended against Nakatani, as that all, but makes a rematch with Franco null and void.
Ioka is promoted by Yusuke Ninomiya of Shisei Boxing, meanwhile the world-famous Mr. Honda, who is the lead voice of Teiken Promotions represents Nakatani, who has trained in Los Angeles, California for some time now.
No word on when this fight might happen.
