IBF Order Andy Ruiz vs. Filip Hrgovic

Jake Donovan of BoxingScene.com has learned that an interim IBF heavyweight title fight has been ordered to take place between Filip Hrgovic and Andy Ruiz Jr.

Though boxing is a muddy mess, Hrgovic is rooted by Wasserman Boxing and Matchroom Boxing, while Ruiz is represented by TGB Promotions, which is heavily involved with the Premier Boxing Champions series of boxing entertainment.

Though a fight being ordered doesn’t mean it will happen, it puts pressure on the fighter to take a good and compelling fight.

Most believe, that Deontay Wilder and Andy Ruiz Jr., will fight this year. If that happens, looking at the rankings, Wilder is ranked one spot below Ruiz Jr., followed by Anthony Joshua, and then the mostly likely opponent in my opinion, Martin Bakole, who will probably land the fight versus Hrgovic.
