Gervonta Davis Open To Isaac Cruz Rematch Under One Condition

Gervonta Davis, who holds the less distinguished version of the WBA lightweight world title, has made it known that he is open to a rematch with Isaac Cruz, whom he fought last December, but under one term.

“If the money right,” said Davis to popular Instagram personality LalosBoxing when asked about fighting Isaac Cruz again.

Davis, who is rumored to return in December has seen his last three fights end up on pay-per-view, and his fight with Cruz last year was highly competitive with fans hoping for a rematch.

Isaac Cruz, who fought in the co-main event of last Sunday’s FOX pay-per-view, knocking out Eduardo Ramirez, in Ramirez’s lightweight debut, got the L.A. crowd behind him.

After such an exciting performance a lot of fans are hoping for Davis to face Cruz again, and with Cruz’s statement to the popular boxing influencer, it is clear the fight is possible to happen.

Davis was last seen in the ring, this May when he stopped Rolando "Rolly" Romero on pay-per-view.
