The whole world seemingly want to ask Gervonta Davis about Ryan Garcia, as they have agreed to fight next, but Davis will face Hector Luis Garcia on Jan. 7, on pay-per-view, and unit that fight is over, Davis isn’t talking about Ryan Garcia.
“I'm definitely not sleeping on him or overlooking him. You saw what he did against Colbert,” Davis said in the popular Twitter Spaces chat, called “Chicken Talk”, hosted by @LazyLeftyOG.
Davis will return home as he will fight at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C.
As mentioned prior, Garcia has upset a future rising star of the sport Chris Colbert last year, and now Davis knows this is the chance of a lifetime for Garcia.
“I know that he's technical. He's got a little pop. I just want to put on a great performance. I'm going back and watching tape and studying him. I'm not a guy who overlooks my opponent just because social media says someone is trash or anything like that. I don't think he's trash.”
