Irish standout Feargal McCrory is ready to head back to the USA, as he has inked a deal with rising promotions ProBox Promotions.
McCrory has been a sufferer of the pandemics grip on boxing, but after being successfully granted entry into the USA, the County Tyrone star is readied to leave his mark on the US.
McCrory discussed signing with ProBox Promotions.
“I’m absolutely delighted to have signed with ProBox Promotions and after a lot of waiting, I’m ready to finally get the ball rolling in the USA. Things have taken there time for many reasons, but I’ve got the deal I wanted and I’m ready to get to work in the USA.
“I spoke to a lot of managers and promoters but many of them talked a good game but couldn’t back it up. The team at ProBox Promotions have done everything they said they were going too, and without them I may have quit boxing. They really have given me a second lease of life career wise.
“ProBox Promotions has some great fighters, so to be stablemates with the likes of Chinese superstar Fanlong Meng and many top class prospects such as Christian Thun and Najee Lopez is right where I need to be in my career.”
McCrory joins a host of talent under the ProBox Promotions banner, and the undefeated featherweight opened up on his hopes for 2022.
McCrory said, “I want to get back active and back in the ring first and foremost. I’ve been out the ring nearly 3 years, so I need to get active and get some good wins under my belt. That’s the plan to start.
“I’m excited to box under the ProBox Promotions banner and be seen worldwide under a top class promotional outfit with global exposure. That’s what every fighter wants, so to have that, and the potential of winning a title of sort in 2022 has got me very excited and I can’t wait to go to work.”
