EXCLUSIVE: Jarrell Miller Reviews Showdown With Lucas Browne In Dubai

Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller (25-0-1) squares off with Australian former WBA Regular champion Lucas ‘Big Daddy’ Browne (31-3) in Dubai this Saturday. ProBox TV News’ very own Andre Courtemanche caught up with Miller on location in Dubai.

“He’s a big guy! He has a good overhand right, but technically and fundamentally he is nowhere near me. I know I’m stronger and faster, I know I’m younger. I got an amazing jab, My IQ in boxing is phenomenal. Everything he does, I do it better.

“I feel great, I feel amazing! I think I’m going to knock him out in the early parts of the fight. I t could be a combination or just one punch, but Know I’m going to stop him.”

The last four years have been less than savoury for the undefeated American, due to a failed drug test ahead of the cancelled Anthony Joshua fight in New York. However, Big Baby returned with two victories in 2022. Miller spoke openly about the stall in his career when asked - if he was the same fighter from four years ago?

“To be honest I don’t really know the answer to that, this is the first game opponent I have fought (in the last four years). I think mentally I have learnt how to let certain things go. I’ve learnt how to read people differently, I have a better understanding with myself spiritually in a way.

“I go through other struggles away from boxing, outside the ring. Dealing with a divorce, not seeing my kids, so the hunger is still there (to fight). I just need to be realistic with myself, know when to criticise myself and know what I need to work on. This fight is going to show me what I need to work on, but at the same time I’m going in for the kill regardless.”
