Demetrius Andrade has become a two-division world champion winning titles in 154 lbs., and 160 lbs., and now enters his third weight class, but hasn’t gotten his “big fight yet”.
He is hoping after his January 7th fight against Demond Nicholson that will change.
“If that is happening, there’s no reason Charlo and Andrade can't happen,” said Andrade during a media scrum to promote the upcoming January 7th pay-per-view, in reference to David Benavidez vs. Caleb Plant fighting this year. “I had a hit list but the time, GGG that just ran out of time. Me fighting GGG, yea it’s good for my resume but whatever. Of course Canelo but you see where that goes - nowhere. Right now, it’s like Charlo.”
Andrade has his eyes set on Charlo, and is not holding his tongue.
