Golden Boy Promotions CEO, Oscar De La Hoya, has been making headlines lately.
While not official, most people are believing that a April 15th fight between Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis is all, but set.
“Tank’s a beast,” said De La Hoya during a media scrum. “He is but now, I have to give Ryan the advantage.”
Though Garcia has fought the less challenging competition, it is the physical size of Garcia that De La Hoya points to his advantage.
“I love the fact that Ryan fights tall,” continued De La Hoya. “Ryan’s a fighter who fights tall and throws that snap jab with the right hand and check hook. If he catches Tank coming in, it’s goodbye, it’s goodnight.”
