David Benavidez is finally getting one of the marquee fights of his career, as he faces his rival, Caleb Plant.
“This is going to be brutal and I’m happy that my fans are going to get a treat,” Benavidez stated when speaking to Jake Donovan of BoxingScene.com. “I’m gonna beat the [the expletive] out of Caleb Plant and I’m very excited to say that.”
The heavily anticipated grudge match taking place March 25 on Showtime Pay-Per-View from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada will have all the eyes of the boxing world.
“I’m very excited. This is a fight we’ve been chasing for a while,” explained Benavidez. “It’s a big step and I kind of feel like it’s the beginning of my career. This is going to change my life in so many different ways.”
