David Benavidez Agreed To All Terms For Caleb Plant Fight

David Benavidez is eager for his bout with Caleb Plant to be made official.

Yet, the longer it takes for an official announcement, the more pessimistic Benavidez slowly becomes.

“He had a lot of demands,” Jose Benavidez Sr, the father and head trainer of David Benavidez when asked about the Caleb Plant fight, when speaking with Jake Donovan of “We gave into everything. He wants this big ring. He wants Rival gloves, and to be in the blue corner. He wants to be announced second. Everything he asked for, we just kept giving it to him.”

Now the team is just awaiting a venue and an official fight date.

“I feel like he’s waiting for us to say no so that he could have his way out of the fight. We said yes to everything. I just hope shows up and fights David,” furthered Jose Benavidez Sr. was the first to report that the main promoter for Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) currently hassix dates held at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, with aMarch 18 date looking suspiciously like it could land the card.

“When they asked us about the ring, I just told them to put the fight in Texas so he can run all around AT&T Stadium,” Benavidez Sr. furthered.

The two fighters have had a clash of personalities for some time, as it is clear the two will not be friends anytime soon, and those often lead to the best fights in the sport of boxing.
