Dan Azeez weighs in at career-low ahead of domestic clash with Buatsi

Joshua Buatsi and Dan Azeez weighed in under the 175lbs limit ahead of Saturday's highly anticipated British and Commonwealth light heavyweight title fight at Wembley Arena, London.

Azeez was late after being caught in traffic as he travelled to the nearby BOXPARK, and then weighed a career-lowest 172.3lbs in preparation for the defence of his titles.

Buatsi made little secret of his annoyance after he was forced to wait for his long-term friend-come-rival. He tipped the scales at 174lbs ahead of the fight that also represents an eliminator for the WBA title.

They were previously scheduled to fight on October 21 at London’s O2 Arena, until Azeez sustained a back injury in his final preparations, forcing their fight's postponement until February 3.

Adam Azim weighed in at 140lbs for his fight with the 139.5lbs Enock Poulsen.

Caroline Dubois, at 134.5lbs, was half-a-pound heavier than her opponent Miranda Reyes.

Ben Whitaker weighed 175.5lbs, and was therefore half a pound lighter than Khalid Graida.
