Crawford Open To Boots Ennis, Vergil Ortiz Fights

It looks a fight between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. is all but doomed.

Going the way of Deontay Wilder vs. Anthony Joshua, Adonis Stevenson vs. Sergey Kovalev, Riddick Bowe vs. Lennox Lewis, or even, Sergio Martinez vs. Gennadiy Golovkin.

It will probably take one of them losing for the bout to happen.

That said, Crawford, who fights David Avanesyan on December 10th, on BLK Prime pay-per-view, is open to fights with the current top contenders.

“Them names never came up,” said Crawford recently on his Instagram Live. “I would’ve fought those names in a heartbeat.”

In reference to Jaron “Boots” Ennis, an undefeated puncher out of Philly, or Vergil Ortiz, an undefeated pressure fighter.

“Come on man, I’m the best fighter in the world. Who you think I am? Who you think I am? I’m the best fighter in the world. I always fought my mandatories. I ain’t never ducked my mandatories,” fathered Crawford.

If Crawford vs. Spence doesn’t happen, maybe we can at least get a good one between Crawford and one of the young undefeated contenders.
