Conor Benn Fails VADA Drug Test Putting Eubank Encounter In Doubt

Conor Benn has reportedly failed a drugs test conducted by VADA ahead of his anticipated encounter with Chris Eubank Jr scheduled for the 8th of October. Conor has reportedly tested positive for the banned substance clomifene which is a drug which is used to treat infertility in women but can be used by men to increase testosterone in Men.

The B sample has not been tested at time of writing and no suspension has been handed as of yet but it throws the contest into huge doubt due to the nature of the drug he has tested positive for which is on the WADA banned substance list. However the BBBofC have delegated their testing to UKAD (the United Kingdom Anti-Doping Agency) of which Conor has passed all of their testing protocols at time of writing. This means at time of writing Conor Benn is still free to fight on the 8th of October however that could change between now and Saturday.
