Conor Benn has taken to Instagram to declare that Chris Eubank Jr is the fight he wants next.
Benn has been linked with a fight in the Middle East with retired veteran Manny Pacquiao, but posted an Instagram story with a picture of himself with Eubank Jr, ahead of their aborted fight last year, with the words "The one I want next".
Boxxer promoter Ben Shalom told talkSPORT that he expected Eubank to confirm his rematch with Liam Smith next week, but Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn said Eubank is one of three fighters in the frame for Benn’s controversial return.
Eubank lost to Smith in four rounds in January after his scheduled October fight with Benn fell through following adverse findings in Benn’s tests for PEDs.
