Conor Benn Accuses Chris Eubank Jr Of Seven-Figure Blackmail

Controversial welterweight, Conor Benn, has sensationally accused Chris Eubank Jr of blackmail following their cancelled October 8th PPV event. The event was pulled due to anti-doping testing failures from Conor Benn for the substance Clomiphene, despite the best efforts of the promoters involved (Matchroom and Wasserman). The event was refused to be sanctioned by the British Boxing Board of Control, which ultimately led to the whole event being cancelled during fight week.

Benn has since been cleared to return to the WBC welterweight ranking following an investigation by the WBC. However, Benn has refused to acknowledge their findings which the WBC say the banned substance came from contaminated eggs and was unknowingly and unintentionally consumed.

Conor appeared on Talk TV and was interviewed by Piers Morgan as he further cemented his claims of innocence while reiterating that he will not cooperate with the BBBofC in their investigation. Conor produced a 270-page dossier for the WBC (regarding “evidence”) and cooperated with the organisation but was unwilling to reciprocate the same sentiment to the board of control.

One avid viewer of March 6th’s interview between Conor and Morgan was Chris Eubank Jr. Chris sounded off on Twitter regarding his views on Conor maintaining his innocence.

“I was 99% sure Conor Benn was a cheat, but after watching that interview with Piers Morgan,

now I’m 100% sure. Imagine failing TWO drug tests & then trying to play the victim!? The balls on this kid!! Or should I say… the eggs on him.”

Only then that Conor Benn responded with the accusation that Eubank Jr had attempted to blackmail him.

“You’re Sat there trying to play the victim but tried blackmailing me for 1m pound. You shit house.”

No details have emerged as to what context or reasoning why behind the accusations of blackmail by Conor towards Eubank Jr.
