Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez became the breakout star in 2022, and now will return to his hometown of San Antonio, Texas looking to become a two-division world champion.
“Bam” is doing it in an unconventional way as he will be moving down in weight from super-flyweight from flyweight, as his brother Joshua Franco looks to unify all the belts at super flyweight.
Jake Donovan of BoxingScene.com was first to report that Rodriguez will face Cristian Gonzalez on April 8th, on a show broadcast on DAZN show with a WBO flyweight title on the line.
