Anthony Joshua is fine with a rematch with former rival Dillian Whyte in 2023.
“It could be, but don’t hold me to the cross the things I say. The game’s forever changing. It’s also whatever Dillian wants to do as well. Joshua told iFL TV in regards to his potential next fight.. “Would I fight Dillian again? Yes, 100%.”
Anthony Joshua who lost his leverage in terms of the world title picture this year in August as he lost a rematch to Oleksandr Usyk, as he was unsuccessful in trying to regain his WBO, IBF and WBA heavyweight world titles.
An ill-fated December fight was speculated with Tyson Fury, the WBC and lineal heavyweight champion, but never materialized.
Whyte is scheduled to face Jermaine Franklin on Nov. 26 at Wembley Arena. With a win that could set-up a Joshua fight. It has been also suggested that Joshua might fight Otto Wallin, as suggested by Joshua’s promoted Eddie Hearn.
