AJAGBA TOPPLES SHAW, NOVA AND LOPEZ STEAL THE SHOW

Efe Ajagba put his name in the big fight heavyweight mix as he produced a disciplined performance against previously undefeated Stephan Shaw.

In the opener, Dante Benjamin demolished Emmanueal Austin in the opening round of their scheduled 6 round contest.

Benjamin put his shots together constructively in what was an explosive outing for the light heavyweight prospect.

Benjamin moved to 5-0, 3KOs.

Brooklyn’s Bruce Carrington boxed his way to victory over six rounds over game Mexican Juan Antonio Lopez.

‘Shu Shu’ displayed the cleaner work throughout, utilizing his speed to solid affect.

All three judges scored the fight in favor of the New York stylist Carrington who moves to 6-0, 3KOs.

Brian Norman Jr battles through a game Rodrigo Coria to a register a unanimous decision victory over 8 rounds.

Norman Jr, who moves to 23-0, 19KOs was made to work for his victory against Coria who entered with a deceptive record, and pressed back the attack minded Norman Jr.

Norman Jr sealed the fight with an eighth round knockdown, with two judges seeing the fight 77-74 in favor of the Atlanta welterweight. The other card ready 79-72 in favor of Norman Jr.

Hometown favorite Bryce Mills grinded out a 6 round decision victory against Margarito Hernandez, winning every round as he moves to 11-1, 4KOs.

Haven Brady boxed his way to a hard fought unanimous decision victory against the attack minded Ruben Cereva.

Brady landed the cleaner work throughout whilst surviving a mid round scare and despite winning a lopsided decision. The cards didn’t tell the full story in this one.

Abraham Nova and Adam Lopez went to war, with the two leaving everything in the ring over 10 rounds.

Lopez controlled the early rounds up until he touched down in a manner that visibly showed he struggled to recover from, as he touched down for a second time in controversial style.

Nova took over at this point, as he begun to let his hands go, pushing Lopez into a defensive mode for several rounds, as he pulled away on the cards.

The latter stages saw Lopez battle back to arguably lose close rounds, as Abraham Nova walked away with a lopsided unanimous decision victory, moving to 22-1, 15KOs. The cards once again failed to tell the full story.

Johnny Rice upsets Guido Vianello, as a punch caused in round number 6 forced a doctors stoppage in round number 7.

I’m a cagey fight throughout, Rice landed a clean right hand in the sixth, upsetting the odds again, as he moves to 16-6-1, 11KOs.

I’m an anticlimactic main event - Efe Ajagba displayed a jabbing clinic to comfortably out point Stephan Shaw, who unfortunately never seemed to get going throughout, despite having the occasional decent spell.

Ajagba moves to 17-1, 13KOs with a unanimous decision victory over the previously undefeated Shaw, with all three judges scoring the fight 96-94.
