Adrien Broner is speaking the gospel of BLK Prime, as he recently signed a multi-fight deal with the new boxing entity.
Broner, who was announced to fight Ivan Redkach, on February 18th, on BLK Prime PPV, taking place in Atlanta, Georgia.
This will be Broner’s first fight since February of 2021. Marking a two-year hiatus from the sport of boxing.
“The money is real, fellas,” Broner told FightHub TV over the weekend. “The money is real. We ain’t living off promises.”
Broner has stated to various media outlets that he has a deal for eight-figures, or in that range. His announcement signing with a new boxing entity was shocking to some, as Broner was the first fighter to fight on a Premier Boxing Champions card, when he fought John Molina Jr. Broner says his relationship with Al Haymon, and Showtime executive Stephen Espinoza is unchanged.
“I’m 100% BLK Prime, and Al and Stephen Espinoza, they my [expletive],” Broner added. “They cool. We’re good.” Broner said. “…at the end of the day, once you take away Showtime, once you take away PBC, once you take away TV, these are regular [expletive] man. You know, they wake up in the morning and put their pants on one leg at a time. Of course, our relationship hasn’t changed. I can still pick up the phone and call.”
